"FLOW.STATE" - Sequential Illustration Work - 2026

"FLOW.STATE" was an animation I made for my Sequential Illustration module.

It was specifically made for a part of the module about interactive sequences.

I already had experience making little game mock ups so when I decided what I wanted to do I got to work straight away.

The concept for the "game" was "Yume Nikki if it was dumb", the gameplay loop of Yume Nikki combined with elements from DELTARUNE such as a cast of reoccurring characters.

I was quite proud of how much I was able to produce in the week I had, every asset, sound and music track was made by me (except two bgs that appear in the cutscene with GRAVELY).

The art style is mostly DELTARUNE/UNDERTALE inspired, especially with the character designs which were very simple to contrast the detailed backgrounds.

"PS: Otherside (Attack Showcase)" - Personal Project - Ongoing

"PS: Otherside" is a game I work on with my friends in our free time.

I handle all of the animation in the game along with most of the spriting in general (all the visuals in the video are made by me).

Proper animation is mainly used for the battles which involve you timing button presses to dodge and damage enemies.

I animate everything in the game quite loosely, often pose-to-pose, to fit the games art style which is purposely a bit crappy looking in some regards.

This approach makes the animations very exaggerated and expressive which is important in relation to the gameplay as it makes learning the attack's dodge windows easier and more readable.

There are a lot more animations done for the game than what's shown in the video, I'm just quite particular about how much I wanna show of the game before it's ready.
